“Sanjayji is a person who never goes back on
his promises and is a genuine human being who understands the problems of all his employees. It is surprising how much he knows about the hospitality business and his solutions to all problems are extremely practical.”
Sanjoy Roy, General Manager, Hospitality, has been in the profession for a long time. He finds meeting people from different walks of life interesting and his open, outgoing nature suits his job profile perfectly.
As Mani Group looks forward to new hospitality ventures, Sanjoy Roy is excited about the fresh challenges his job will bring in the future. According to him, the secret of success in all hospitality ventures depends on giving the customer that wee bit extra that he is not expecting. To build up a loyal customer base, it is imperative to ensure that all problems a customer may face is dealt with on the spot, without delay. He is absolutely sure that he and his team will be able to deliver all that the Group promises and they will be able to enlist in their fold countless happy customers!
Sanjoy Roy finds the food business particularly challenging. On behalf of the Mani Group he orchestrates the entire hospitality operations and is re-organising his team to ensure excellent service that will take all the Group’s hospitality ventures forward, be they the food courts in Mani Square in Kolkata and Pink Square in Jaipur, or the various restaurants and clubs that are going to be under the corporate belt.
For Sanjoy Roy, Mr Sanjay Jhunjhunwala is a huge inspiration as the boss who walks the talk. “Sanjay-ji is a person who never goes back on his promises and is a genuine human being who understands the problems of all his employees. It is surprising how much he knows about the hospitality business and his solutions to all problems are extremely practical and aimed for the satisfaction of customers. He believes in tackling challenges head on and resolving issues without fuss. He gives us a fair chance to prove our worth and always stresses that we come to him with solutions and not problems! As the hospitality business will get a fresh impetus in the future months, I look forward to my assignment and hope that it will be both challenging and satisfying.”
