Krishna Das has been part of Mani Group since 1987 and after a short break is now happy to be back at her desk.

Krishna Das, Junior Architect, has been part of Mani Group since 1987. Several dreams have become a reality since then and Krishna Das has participated in making these dreams come true. “Before Queen’s Park office we were housed in Mani Mansion, our first workspace,” she remembers. “I have a diploma in architecture and the first project that I was involved with was Mani Towers at James Long Sarani. We were a very small team but completely dedicated to our work which was both challenging and exciting. Today, all these years later, the organisation has grown by leaps and bounds and is very professionally managed. Now our real estate projects are lavish and have spread out of Kolkata.”
Krishna Das looks after all architectural drawings and has been involved with the JW Marriott project as well as the Courtyard project in Siliguri. She points out, “Though the work atmosphere in my department is friendly, it is also very organised. I sometimes find it difficult to believe how far we have come from the original homely atmosphere that we used to have at our office! When I began work all those years ago, we used to do our drawings manually. Now everything is computerised. I took a break in my work because I have a small son and I was not in very good health. But I am thrilled to be back at my desk!”
