Mani Group has been into Kolkata real estate development since 1980. Over the last three and a half decades, the Group has developed more than 25 million square feet across 50+ properties and is working steadily towards developing a further in and around Kolkata, Durgapur, Jaipur, Siliguri and Bhubaneswar.

The Mani Group is a Kolkata headquartered organization that was set up by Mr. Sanjay Jhunjhunwala with a simple vision – building spaces for people who believe in quality. He sought to address the basic requirement of shelter, at the same ensuring superior quality construction as well as project completion within the stipulated time schedule. Today, over three and a half decades later, this unwavering focus remains as strong as ever and Mani Group has blossomed into a large, vibrant and highly respected organization with a multi-sector pan-India footprint.

Starting in 1980 from a one-room office at Lower Rawdon Street and two people, today the Mani Group Corporate Office at Mani Square itself sprawls over 30,000 sq.ft. and the group has over 900 people on its rolls. The group’s operations have spread out far beyond the confines of Kolkata and now its offices and footprint cover West Bengal, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Odisha. Other locations are in active consideration.

We started three and a half decades ago with a simple mission – to build quality homes for people, protect their assets for life and exceed their expectations.

Today our achievements and activities are manifold. The Group has now carved a niche for itself in real estate. Having delivered over 10 million square feet of prime developments spanning more than 50 destinations with a further 25 million square feet under construction as on date, the Mani Group has touched the lives of more than 3,500 happy families and earned itself a rich and enviable legacy not only in Kolkata, but in Durgapur, Jaipur, Siliguri and Bhubaneswar as well. So much so that we have emerged as a real estate developer with a difference. We continue to remain passionately engaged in exceeding customer expectations and enhancing the value of ownership through our distinctive landmarks that adorn the skylines. We are currently developing The 42, a 250-metre high architectural marvel on the historic thoroughfare of Chowringhee in Kolkata. Today, it is the tallest tower in eastern India and a remarkable feat of engineering and design.

In the course of our journey we explored all possible realms of development across residential, retail, commercial, hospitality and education sectors. We have worked hard to entrench ourselves as the desired developer in the minds of diverse target audiences. Our foray into retail was marked by Mani Square in Kolkata and the Pink Square at Jaipur. They are both favourite family destinations for shopping, leisure and entertainment.

Our hospitality initiatives include the J.W. Marriot on the E.M. Bypass in Kolkata. This 5-star deluxe hotel has 281 keys and is fully geared to meet the needs of any global business traveller. Besides this, we are also setting up a "Courtyard by Marriott" in Siliguri, a 4-star business hotel in the Himalayan foothills with 94 rooms and other commensurate facilities.

We have ventured into the field of Education at the 100-acre IQ City township in Durgapur, West Bengal, where we are creating an entire Health & Knowledge Campus with a synergistic cluster of educational institutions in 50 acres. The IQ City Medical College and the IQ City Nursing College are already training future doctors and nurses to serve our society.

In Healthcare, the IQ City Medical College and Hospital is operational. This teaching hospital has a capacity of 800 beds since completion.
