Mr Brijesh Biyani harbours an innate calmness that attracts you immediately to his fold. He is by nature gentle and calm. But that does not take away from the doggedness with which he tackles his various assignments.
Mr Biyani’s association with the Group began in 2002 as a Consultant and he has seen the organisation grow since then. He emphasizes, “Mr Sanjay Jhunjhunwala has single-handedly taken the Group to this level. His most important strength has been to provide quality products. Sanjay-ji has tremendous skills in terms of engineering, marketing and legal aspects, and building the right image for the Group. These are some of the aspects he has leveraged to put the organisation on the fast track. He understands the need for quality and is a great team builder.”
Indeed, team-building and Management Information Systems are key areas Mr Biyani is looking into. As he says, “Interactions at all levels are very useful for building a strong team. The organisation building process is on and is getting full priority along with strategizing new investments. I am fairly closely involved with the MIS activities, operational aspects of the malls and our project Mani Tirumala in Bhubaneswar.” Mr Biyani sees the Group playing an important part as a leader. And he has a lot of hope for activities that are spreading their wings not only in other states of the country but also in West Bengal. He feels, “People from this State have had a lot of nurturing and highly educated individuals from Bengal are doing extremely well all over the globe. Now, many sons of the soil want to own their own place here. Thus high end real estate has huge aspirational values and Mani Group is a leader in this field.”
