Our verticals are expanding rapidly and we are now opening up fresh ventures not only in West Bengal but also in the other states of India. From real estate we are now spreading out to include hospitality, healthcare, retail and education. So it is imperative that all the investments are managed efficiently. That there is no delayand waste. That is our biggest challenge.”
Mr Binod Agarwal is happy to reflect on the past and applaud the growth that has taken place so efficiently and rapidly. “From less than a hundred staff, today we have grown to include employees in all our sites. Already, our customer base has increased vastly and we have to ensure that we are ahead of the competition. Therefore, efficient management of finance is crucial to our progress.”
In Mr Sanjay Jhunjhunwala, Mr Agarwal finds not only a leader but a true visionary who is unconditionally interested in the welfare of the Group and his employees. “From Sanjay-ji I have learnt so much. He has a vast knowledge of all that is going on in the Group and will always find a logical solution to problems. His mind is clear as crystal! Always concerned about the welfare of all staff, his sense of ethics and fairness is exemplary.”
