As Company Secretary, Mr Rajesh Chhaparia has the overall responsibility for Mani Group’s accounts and audit. Before joining the Group, he was practicing as a whole time company secretary. And after taking over he is happy to announce that ‘everything is in place as the financial health of the organisation was always good.’
Mr Chhaparia is excited that the Group has a range of verticals that are relevant to the growth of our country’s economy. He enjoys tackling his varied tasks and has an excellent relationship with all his colleagues. To streamline some of the tasks he has introduced an offline system – Accounts, Audit and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) – which has helped to enhance varied resource forecasting and help in the progression of the Group.
There is a twinkle in his eyes when he talks about Mr Sanjay Jhunjhunwala. According to Mr Chhaparia, “Sanjayji gives you an opportunity to improve on your skills every single day. A thorough gentleman even in a crisis and in tricky situations, you can rely on him to guide you out of any difficulty. He is excellent with his human relations and though he likes to keep things formal, he also gives you an opportunity to feel part of the Mani Group family. There is no question at all of the isolation.” In his leisure time Mr Chhaparia loves reading and when he is on tours, he has a special penchant for mysteries and thrillers. As he says, “there’s nothing quite like the enjoyment of a page-turner!” He also has a special place in his heart for music and loves listening to old and new Bollywood numbers when he is at home with his wife and three children.
