“Sanjay-ji is a perfectionist and I hope we have been able to keep this perfection in mind while creating Mani Tirumala. He is always asking us to add more value to any finished product so that the customer is pleased beyond expectations.”
Sisir Kumar Ghosh, Senior Manager, Projects, is based in Bhubaneswar. Initially accepting an assignment in the Group in 2001 in Kolkata, he left the organisation for a while only to rejoin in the Odisha undertaking in 2013. With a twinkle in his eyes he says, “My job involves all civil execution – from foundation to finishing! It is a task that keeps me on my toes but I enjoy every minute of my work. There is never a dull moment in our lives! I have learnt a lot from Sanjay-ji regarding ‘finishing’. He has such a sharp and meticulous eye. Nothing escapes his vision! Once I joined back, he asked me to look after the Bhubaneswar project and I happily accepted the challenge.”
As Sisir Kumar Ghosh concentrates on his job he points out that Mani Group has grown by leaps and bounds in the last decade. He points out that currently the organisation is professionalised and colleagues are handling specific responsibilities assigned to them. “However, when I first began my duties, we were a small bunch of staff and had to take care of everything. That taught us multi-tasking and gave us an insight into how various challenges could be tackled. It was a very good experience.”
The Bhubaneswar project is progressing fast. It opens up a new lifestyle for all those who have bought into Mani Tirumala which is fast nearing completion.
As Sisir Kumar Ghosh reiterates, “It is a big test to ensure that deliveries to customers are made on time. The first phase will give us better experience to ensure that Phase II happens smoothly. Sanjay-ji is a perfectionist and I hope we have been able to keep this perfection in mind while creating Mani Tirumala.
