It has been successfully contributing to the medical personnel bank of the country through its MBBS, Doctor of Medicine (MD) courses. The college has also been recognized as a regional training centre for medical teaching technology by the Medical Council of India.
IQ City Medical College is a private, not-for-profit medical teaching institute. The first batch of IQ City Medical College students, admitted in August 2013, has passed the Final MBBS examination and has been undergoing internship training since March 2018. The Medical College, from 2018 has been recognised/approved for the MBBS degree. MD courses have also been started in six subjects with the first batch from the first quarter of 2018. The college has also been recognised as a regional training centre for medical teaching technology by the Medical Council of India.
With an overall capacity of 1200 beds, its operational super speciality departments include Cardiology, Cardio-Thoracic Surgery, Neurology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, along with a dialysis unit, Paediatric Surgery and Plastic Surgery.
